  The “Tradition” Pinot Grigio from the Terlan Winery embodies the elegant lightness and grounded minerality of the high plateau on the Ritten and in the Etschtal valley. The grapes come from steep slopes on porphyry and dolomite-rich soils, giving the wine a subtle hint of rock and hillside. Gentle whole-cluster pressing, controlled stainless steel fermentation, and several months of aging on the fine lees allow the wine to develop both clarity and depth—a style that finely balances the influence of the soil with the character of the grape variety.

In the glass, Tradition Pinot Grigio displays a light straw yellow color with delicate greenish reflections. The nose reveals aromas of Williams pear, white peach, lychee, and a hint of grapefruit, along with floral notes reminiscent of freshly mown meadows. On the palate, it is round and smooth: the fruit notes combine with a fine minerality and pleasant volume to create a harmonious overall experience.
