A bottle of Valpolicella Classico Superiore Marta Galli in a high quality original wooden box with sliding lid:
Vibrant ruby color in the glass. On the nose sweet notes of dried grapes, cherries, plums and some leather and licorice. The grapes, already selected in the vineyard, and their drying for 20-30 days give this wine, aged in French oak barrels, the characteristics, structure as well as concentration that distinguish it from traditional Valpolicella. - Gerardo [TS01/17]
Gerardo's Notes: The selection in the vineyard, the more complex grape variety and the 20-30 day drying process give this wine, aged in French oak tonneaux, structure, concentration and a higher alcohol content. It is thus fundamentally different from the traditional Valpolicella.
