  The liter wines from South Tyrol are a special gem - with their authentic style, easy accessibility and pure drinking pleasure, they have retained a loyal following. However, this wine specialty is becoming increasingly rare, as the wine-growing region of South Tyrol has been increasingly focusing its production on 0.75-litre bottles for some time now. This development means a gradual departure from the straightforward, honest wines in liter format that once characterized the region's wine production. Today, the selection is limited to Vernatsch and Pinot Blanc in liter bottles; popular varieties such as the traditional Edelvernatsch, a sparkling Rosato or a Pinot Grigio full of character are not available in this format.

It is precisely for this reason that we consider it a special mission - and a pleasure at the same time - to continue to make these wines available in their original, characterful form. With their catchy drinkability, harmonious taste profile and excellent price-pleasure ratio, they are the ideal everyday companions - authentic, earthy and a living piece of South Tyrolean wine history. We will keep these original wines in our range with conviction for as long as we can obtain them - as a tribute to a tradition that must be preserved. - Gerardo [TS10/23]
