Rosé Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT 2025

  The Rosé “Vigneti delle Dolomiti” from the Nals-Margreid Winery is an elegant cuvée made from Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Lagrein—three grape varieties that are known for their distinctive characteristics. The grapes grow at altitudes of around 280 to 400 meters in the South Tyrolean lowlands on calcareous gravel and alluvial soils with porphyry components. After harvesting by hand, the grapes undergo a short maceration before pressing; the must is fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures for around three weeks, after which the wine matures on the fine lees for around five months.

In the glass, the wine displays an intense cherry pink color with a luminous depth. The nose reveals fresh aromas of cherries and wild berries, delicately accompanied by a hint of almonds on the finish. On the palate, it presents a lively acidity, pleasant fruitiness, and mineral notes—the result of South Tyrol's cool-warm climate and selected terroir.
