Purple red with violet tones. Lively and typical of the Nero d'Avola of the Noto area: red fruits such as plums, currants and licorice. This is followed by carob, peppercorns and fig preserves, also mustard. Here it is not the weight of the tannin that matters, but rather its density. The palate exerts a centrifugal action, spreading the fragrance from the center outward, filling every nook and cranny with angular matter. - Gerardo [TS08/20]
