  The Petriccio Chianti Montespertoli Riserva from Fattoria Poggio Capponi is a powerful expression of the Sangiovese terroir around Montespertoli, near Florence. It appears deep ruby red in the glass, a visual promise of intense maturity and concentration. Its nose seduces with ripe red and black fruits—cherries, plums, and raspberries—accompanied by subtle spice notes and a hint of vanilla and toasted aromas from the aging process.

The palate reveals an elegant structure with smoothly integrated tannins and a noticeable depth, which is given multidimensional nuances by aging in French and American oak barrels.
