Gerardo's Notes: 'Puglia is also an excellent growing area for white grape varieties, including the world-famous Chardonnay grape. The sunny climate produces a mild, creamy white wine with little bitterness and restrained acidity. Due to the higher concentration - caused by the climate - of fructose in the grapes, the wines also have a somewhat higher alcohol content.'
