  Santa Venere's Voltagrande Passito Rosso presents itself in the glass with a deep, dark ruby red color with garnet red reflections that reflect its concentration and maturity. The nose reveals an intense bouquet of ripe dark fruits such as cherries, plums, and blackberries, complemented by nuances of dried figs, chocolate, and subtle spices, which are attributable to the Passito aging process. A delicate mineral note hints at the calcareous soils of Calabria and elegantly underscores the wine's origin.

On the palate, Voltagrande Passito Rosso has a dense, supple structure that harmoniously supports the intense fruit and natural sweetness. The tannins are soft and well integrated, while the lively acidity provides balance and freshness, so that the wine does not seem heavy despite its sweetness. Particularly noteworthy is the traditional method of producing Passito, in which the grapes are carefully dried after harvesting to achieve a high concentration of aromas and sugar.
