The Lafòa Cabernet-Sauvignon is a true masterpiece among the top wines of South Tyrol and has made a name for itself far beyond its borders. The combination of careful viticulture and precise winemaking gives this wine a remarkable intensity and fullness. Its deep dark, violet-black color is just as fascinating as the dense bouquet of cassis, blackberries and fine spicy notes. It develops powerful tannins on the palate, giving it an impressive structure and a robust backbone. Gerardo's Notes: Die Weinlage Lafòa liegt auf einer Anhöhe zwischen Girlan und Schreckbichl - ein trockener, sonnenexponierter Standort. Der eher karge, sandig-schottrige Moränenboden ist Garant für eigenständige Weiß- und Rotweine von kräftiger Struktur und Finesse. Sehr tiefe violett/schwarze Farbe. Hochdichtes Bouquet, Chassis, Brombeeren. Sehr wuchtiger und doch eleganter Ansatz, im Geschmack dicht konzentrierte Gerbstoffe, kräftiges Rückgrat und enorm langer Nachhall. Hohes Alterungspotential von 10 bis 15 Jahren.
