Perelise · Gewürztraminer DOC 2022

  The “Perelise” Gewürztraminer from the Schreckbichl Winery is a prime example of the aromatic diversity and elegance of this noble grape variety. The name “Perelise” refers to the noble, pearly aromas that this wine develops. The grapes come from carefully selected vineyards at an altitude of 450 to 550 meters, where the calcareous, sandy soils and continental climate provide ideal conditions for ripening. After a short maceration, the grapes are gently pressed, and the wine ferments and matures in stainless steel to preserve its freshness and fruitiness.

In the glass, “Perelise” presents itself in a bright lemon yellow with greenish reflections. The bouquet is intense and complex, with aromas of rose petals, ripe apricots, exotic lychee, and subtle spice notes of cinnamon and vanilla. On the palate, the wine shows remarkable finesse and elegance despite its full body. Its lively freshness and harmonious structure make it a versatile companion - whether as an aperitif, with Asian dishes or with fine fish dishes.
