  The Appius white wine from the St. Michael-Eppan winery in South Tyrol is a noble cuvée that derives its uniqueness not least from the blend of several high-quality varieties: Chardonnay makes up the majority, complemented by carefully selected additions of Pinot Blanc, Pinot Grigio, and Sauvignon Blanc. The grapes come from selected vineyards in Eppan, where calcareous moraine and gravel soils and the mild microclimate allow for excellent ripening. Great care is taken during vinification - fermentation takes place in small barrels, after which the wine matures on the fine lees, giving it a rare depth and structure.

In the glass, this wine displays a brilliant straw yellow color with olive green reflections, hinting at its refined elegance. The bouquet unfolds with aromas of exotic fruits such as pineapple, mango, and papaya, complemented by nuances of quince and pear—an aromatic complexity that transitions into a harmonious balance of richness and precision on the palate.
