Löwengang Chardonnay has not only shaped the success story of Alois Lageder, but also established the quality status of the wine country of South Tyrol. Troy · Chardonnay Riserva DOC 2020

The Chardonnay Riserva Troy comes from vineyards located at over 500 meters. Such a Chardonnay from high altitude is a rarity, but therein lies the charm: of pale straw yellow color in the glass, in the bouquet of fresh apples, supported by subtle citrus and mint notes. Fresh and cool on the palate, with spicy notes and hints of almond and hazelnut. The sparkling yellow-green appearance of this Sauvignon is impressive. Its aroma is enticingly exotic, with a multi-layered fruit of mango, papaya, lime and red grapefruit. Herbal aromas reminiscent of lemongrass, lemon balm, mint and green tea are also clearly perceptible. It also reveals mineral flint notes combined with a hint of gooseberry. On the palate, there is an extremely interesting interplay.
