  The “Graf” Chardonnay from the Merano Winery embodies a successful synthesis of fruity clarity and stylistic depth. The grapes come from selected vineyards around Merano, where the mineral-rich weathered soils and the alpine influence of the location give the wine a precise expression. The processing is carried out with great care: part of the fermentation and maturation takes place in stainless steel tanks, another part in large oak barrels, harmoniously combining freshness and aromatic depth.

In the glass, this Chardonnay displays a lively yellow color with greenish reflections, already hinting at its freshness. The nose opens with exotic accents of pineapple and banana, refined by citrus notes and a subtle buttery texture—an aroma that reflects both the character of the variety and its origin. On the palate, aromatic richness combines with an elegant structure: the wine is fresh and harmonious, supported by a stylish length and good balance. It is an excellent accompaniment to fine fish and seafood dishes as well as creamy pasta creations, demonstrating how a Chardonnay from South Tyrol can combine modern style and origin. - Gerardo [TS10/24]
