Only a few Gewürztraminers can compete with those from Alsace - and those that can are all from South Tyrol: The Gewürztraminer 'Nussbaumer' is a bright intense golden yellow in the glass. To the nose, this rich white wine reveals a kaleidoscope of scents reminiscent of rose petals, ylang ylang, ripe yellow exotic fruits, honeydew melon and mango. This spectrum is accompanied by notes of dried herbs, ginger, saffron, cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg. Of deep aromatics, full-bodied and extracted but with fine spicy juiciness and salty minerality. Frauenhügel · Lagrein Riserva DOC 2021

Lagrein is the oldest autochthonous grape variety in South Tyrol. It thrives best on the deep, warm soils of Bolzano (Gries) and Unterlandl (Kurtatsch), which are formed from loamy-sandy deposits of rivers and streams. The 'Frauenhügel' parcel is a very warm site directly above the wine road northwest of the village of Kurtatsch. There the Lagrein reaches its optimal maturity and can bring out its full potential.

The 'Frauenhügel' has a seductive fruitiness of wild berries, elderberries, black cherries and cocoa beans. The wine accumulates balsamic tannins during aging in barrique barrels. During the subsequent aging in large wooden barrels, the noble roasted substances and the vital acidity enter into a harmonious union with the powerful fruit body. The best Lagrein is said to show not only concentration and length on the finish, but also an individual earthy note. The clayey soil is responsible for its typical site characteristics, which lend a piquant spiciness to the long, deliciously fruity finish. - Gerardo [TS07/22]

Straw yellow color, the fresh and delicate aroma reminiscent of yellow roses and nutmeg, some cloves and cinnamon. Strong body, spicy and with lively acidity. 'Atise' is the first documentary mention of the Adige River, which after the Ice Age took its course through the Überetsch. 'Lafòa' is a single-varietal Sauvignon from the hills around Girlan with an international reputation. A literally explosive bouquet with aromas of tomato leaves and sage, underscored by delicate floral and vegetal notes impresses on the nose. The pithy acidity coupled with a powerful structure gives a particularly harmonious impression on the palate. Rosatum - 'Rose wine' was the name given in ancient Rome to the wine scented with rose oil. Extremely low yields produce a ripe rose aroma with silky richness. The name Carano comes from the native origin of the Di Pauli family in Val di Fiemme. A single-varietal Lagrein of deep dark color, with notes of cherries, blackberries and plums on the nose. Exilissi · Gewürztraminer Riserva DOC 2016

This Gewürztraminer is produced annually only in a vanishingly small edition of 2,800 bottles. Exilissi is a wine like liquid light, with a distinct golden yellow color. A Pinot Noir in search of authenticity, without the use of wood during fermentation and aging. Fermentation in ceramic eggs and maceration on the skins for about three months, then racking and aging in ceramic for another nine months. The Loam is a Cuvee of a special kind, consisting of 50 percent Cabernet Sauvignon, 15 percent Cabernet Franc and 35 percent Merlot; these varieties have been at home in South Tyrolean vineyards for over 150 years. It presents a garnet to dark garnet red color, and its aroma is reminiscent of tart aromas of wild cherry, black currant, dried fruit, chocolate and cedar.
