  The “Porer Pinot Grigio” from Alois Lageder is an elegant yet profound interpretation of the Pinot Grigio variety, which is characteristic of the South Tyrolean terroir. Originating from strictly biodynamically cultivated vineyards on limestone and sandy soils around Magrè and Salurn, this wine combines different vinification approaches in a sophisticated way: Some of the grapes are pressed immediately, others remain on the skins for 15 hours, and a third portion even matures for months with stems and skins - a process that ensures substance, depth, and texture.

In the glass, the Porer reveals itself in a light straw yellow with a reddish sheen - a visual indication of its special ripeness and processing. Its bouquet unfolds ripe nuances of peach and honeydew melon, accompanied by fine spice notes and a noticeable mineral tension. On the palate, this fruitiness combines with a polished structure and lively precision; the finish is elegant and lingering, carried by clarity and origin.
