The Barolo Riserva Vigna Bricco Sarmassa is a true masterpiece that impressively embodies the excellence of the Piedmontese wine tradition. Coming from the renowned Bricco Sarmassa vineyard, it has a deep ruby red color with garnet reflections in the glass. The bouquet is complex and multi-layered: ripe red fruit, black cherries and dried plums combine with notes of tobacco, leather and fine herbs to create an impressive olfactory experience.
On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and powerful, with a pronounced structure and elegant, fine-meshed tannins. The lively acidity carries the fruit and provides balance and depth. The long, mineral finish underlines the longevity and class of this Barolo Riserva, which shows great potential for development after extensive ageing in wooden barrels.
