The Barolo Sarmassa presents itself in a rich ruby red with garnet reflections, already hinting at its depth and concentration in the glass. The nose reveals a multi-layered, almost mysterious bouquet with aromas of dark berries, fine spicy notes and a hint of dried flowers. This complex and profound aroma gives the wine a fascinating expressiveness from the very beginning, which continues to develop.
On the palate, the Barolo Sarmassa is powerful and precise, with a dense, structured tannin structure that gives the wine substance and depth. Despite its intensity, it remains elegant, with harmoniously integrated tannins and a lively acidity that gives it freshness and balance. The long, mineral-influenced finish impressively reflects the quality of the vineyard and the terroir.
