The Barolo Sarmassa has a rich ruby red color with garnet reflections in the glass, giving a visual hint of the deep concentration of this wine. A multi-layered, almost mysterious bouquet unfolds on the nose, with aromas of dark berries, spices and a hint of dried flowers. The aromas are complex and profound, making the wine a fascinating experience right from the start. On the palate, the Barolo Sarmassa impresses with a compact and structured tannin framework that gives the wine an impressive density. The tannins are powerful but well integrated, resulting in a remarkable elegance. The wine develops with considerable length and leaves a persistent, mineral finish that reflects the quality of the vineyard and terroir.
