Gerardo's Notes: Langhe Nebbiolo without site designation is a new wine from Brezza: since the production rules for Nebbiolo have been relaxed somewhat, Enzo Brezza is allowed to press a fresh, mild and fruity Nebbiolo without the mandatory 12 months of wood aging. This Nebbiolo is ready to drink much earlier, there is no need for aging to soften the tannins. An honest, high-quality and drinkable Nebbiolo which, with its young-fruity character, is distantly reminiscent of a high-quality Vernatsch.
