Bright straw yellow color with golden reflections in the glass. On the nose, the Lugana 'I Frati' flatters with hints of apricots, almonds and some flint. Refreshing on the palate, of moderate acidity and noble minerality. - Gerardo [TS11/24]

Gerardo's Notes: I Frati is the wine that has shaped and continues to shape the company's image. It is directly related to its variety, the Turbiana, an indigenous grape variety. Conceived to be drunk during the year, it shows its best side for many years after bottling. In its youth it is fresh, straightforward and of great finesse and elegance with delicate notes of white flowers and balsamic, hints of apricot and almond. With time it evolves, expressing its mineral notes with greater determination. The wine gains its own complexity with notes of iodine, spices and candied fruit. In the mouth it is able to envelop the whole palate, thanks to a significant tasty essence accompanied by a lively acidity.
