Pure Pinot Nero with a bright ruby red color. Spicy nose of undergrowth, pepper, some leather and cherries. Clear and spicy on the palate, powerful and lively.
The grapes for this wine come from a vineyard from Giovanni's training period, planted back then as a youthful experiment, two wines inspired by Bourgogne are still produced today. For these special wines with the addition 'Via', grape varieties atypical for Tuscany are used. All 'Via' wines are only produced in small limited editions. - Gerardo [TS01/20]
