  Jermann's “W... Dreams” is an exceptional Chardonnay that was first created as an experiment in 1987. The name of the wine pays homage to the U2 album “The Joshua Tree,” in particular the song “Where the Streets Have No Name.” For the first nine years, the wine was called “Where the Dreams Have No End...,” with the color of the capsule varying with each vintage, running through the seven colors of the rainbow. This creative naming reflects the innovative power and artistic vision of Silvio Jermann, who has led the winery to international recognition since the 1970s with his genius and imagination.

The “W... Dreams” is made from 97% Chardonnay grapes, complemented by a secret 3% blend carefully selected by Silvio Jermann. The grapes come from selected plots near Dolegna del Collio and Farra d'Isonzo, on calcareous marl soils with excellent drainage. The wine is aged for 11 months in small 300-liter French oak barrels, which gives it remarkable complexity and elegance. In the glass, “W... Dreams” presents itself with a brilliant golden yellow color and a complex bouquet of ripe fruit, vanilla, toasted nuts, and a hint of honey. On the palate, it is powerful and structured, with a fine acidity and a long, harmonious finish.
