  La Tunella's “Rjgialla” is a modern interpretation of the traditional Ribolla Gialla grape variety from Friuli. The grapes come from the hills of Colli Orientali del Friuli, a region known for its “Ponca” soils—a mixture of sandstone and marl that gives the wines minerality and freshness. The Zorzettig family, who have been running the winery since the 1960s, use sustainable farming methods and innovative cellar techniques to unlock the full potential of this indigenous grape variety.

The “Rjgialla” presents itself in the glass in a bright straw yellow with green reflections. The bouquet is intense and elegant, with aromas of acacia, yellow peach, plum, and green apples. On the palate, the wine displays a pleasant freshness, dryness, and a spicy character typical of Ribolla Gialla.
