This expressive red wine from the Vittoria region combines the strength of 70% Nero d’Avola with the aromatic finesse of 30% Frappato. Following a twelve-day maceration and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel, it gains its final polish through twelve months of aging in used 500-liter tonneaux. In the glass, it displays a bright ruby red with violet reflections and reveals a complex bouquet reminiscent of ripe cherries, strawberries, and sour cherry jam, underpinned by deep notes of chestnut honey and figs.
On the palate, it is wonderfully soft and harmonious, with fine tannins elegantly interwoven with subtle wood notes from the barrel aging. This balanced structure makes it an extremely versatile dining companion that adapts flexibly rather than requiring heavy dishes. Whether paired with hearty appetizers or robust main courses, its accessible yet multi-layered character enriches any menu, making it a reliable choice for restaurant dining as well.
