  The Lafòa Cabernet Sauvignon from the Schreckbichl Winery is a masterpiece of South Tyrolean winemaking that embodies the winery's philosophy: highest quality through selective harvesting and gentle processing. The name “Lafòa” refers to a pilot vineyard where new standards for quality and grape variety selection were set in the 1980s. It was here that the idea arose to produce wines of exceptional elegance and longevity through reduced yields and selective harvesting. Cabernet Sauvignon thrives in the best locations in South Tyrol, where the combination of barren moraine soils and an ideal microclimate creates optimal conditions for the ripening of this demanding grape variety. After harvesting, the grapes are gently processed, followed by aging in barriques, which gives the wine additional depth and complexity.

In the glass, Lafòa Cabernet Sauvignon presents itself in a deep dark violet with an almost black core. The bouquet seduces with aromas of blackcurrants, blackberries, dark chocolate, gingerbread spice, and vanilla, accompanied by a subtle wood note. On the palate, it is powerful yet elegant, with densely concentrated tannins and a strong backbone. The finish is long and characterized by a subtle minerality that reflects the wine's origin.
