The Pfefferer is a shining example of the traditional Goldmuskateller grape variety, which has been cultivated in South Tyrol for centuries. The variety owes its name to the popular term “Pfefferer”, which refers to the spicy aroma of this old vine. In the glass, the wine is a pale straw yellow with greenish reflections. An expressive, varietal bouquet with notes of elderflower, fresh lime, nutmeg and a hint of mint unfolds from the very first whiff. Fine herbal and floral nuances elegantly complement the overall aromatic picture and invite you to take your first sip.
On the palate, the Pfefferer is lively, juicy and extremely charming. Its vital freshness and delicate acidity lend it an animating lightness, while the delicate nutmeg spice and fruity aromas of green apple, citrus and white peach ensure a complex but always accessible taste experience. The subtle minerality adds structure and ensures a clear, delicately spicy finish.
