  Tenute Rubino's single-varietal Visellio Primitivo Salento comes from a historic site near Brindisi in the heart of Apulia - a search for traces of a wine tradition that dates back to Roman times. The name Visellio pays homage to the owner of an ancient Roman estate, on whose land the vineyards now stand. The indigenous Primitivo grape variety is harvested here when fully ripe, carefully vinified, and aged in barriques - expressive and at the same time clearly traceable to its origins.

In the glass, this wine captivates with its deep ruby red color and violet reflections, a sensual promise of intensity. The nose reveals a multifaceted bouquet: ripe plums, blackcurrants, and blackberries, accompanied by spicy notes of nutmeg, cloves, and licorice - Mediterranean aromas that bring the terroir to life. On the palate, Visellio is powerful and velvety with a firm tannin-based structure that elegantly combines fruit and spice.
