Infinitum · Negroamaro DOC 2024

  Torrevento's Infinitum Negroamaro reflects the castle-like landscape around the Murgia plateau in Apulia—a region with calcareous clay soils and fresh sea breezes that give the vines energy and precision. This wine is vinified from the indigenous Negroamaro grape variety, whose name refers to its dark color (“nero”) and often subtle bitterness (“amaro”). Careful hand-picking and fermentation in stainless steel tanks preserve the wine's freshness, resulting in a characterful wine with regional backbone and without excessive opulence.

In the glass, Infinitum Negroamaro reveals a clear ruby red color, interspersed with subtle orange-red reflections that indicate a certain structured depth. The nose unfolds ripe dark berries - such as cherry and blackberry - combined with fine spice and a hint of Mediterranean herbs, which makes the immediate proximity to the Adriatic Sea palpable. The palate is balanced and smooth: gentle tannins carry the fruit, accompanied by a subtle minerality that comes from the unique terroir.
