The Barbaresco Vallegrande is an authentic homage to the traditional art of winemaking in the Langhe. It comes from the vineyards around the Ca' del Baio winery and is matured exclusively in large wooden barrels - a deliberate renunciation of modern barrique technology in favor of a purist style. It shines in the glass in an elegant garnet red, the bouquet is intense and multi-layered, characterized by ripe red fruits, dried flowers and subtle notes of undergrowth, which emphasize its maturity and depth.
On the palate, Vallegrande is dry, velvety and balanced. Its tannins are present but finely interwoven, giving the wine structure without weighing it down. The warm, harmonious finish reflects the balance of power and finesse that makes this Barbaresco so full of character.
