Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG 2018 (Bio)

  Camigliano's Chianti Colli Senesi is a lively expression of the Tuscan terroir, combining freshness and fruitiness. This DOCG-certified wine is made from 80% Sangiovese and 20% Merlot grapes sourced from the winery's youngest vineyards. The soils consist of tuff, which gives the grapes a special ripeness and aromatic intensity. The vines are trained using the Spurred Cordon system with a planting density of 5,000 plants per hectare. After gentle pressing, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at 25-26°C, followed by a maceration period of 8-12 days. The wine is aged in large barrels and stainless steel tanks to preserve its freshness and fruitiness. Before bottling, the wine is left to mature in the bottle for several weeks.

This Chianti is characterized by its lively structure and clear fruit aromas. The combination of Sangiovese and Merlot results in a harmonious wine with soft tannins and balanced acidity. With an alcohol content of 13-14% Vol. and a total acidity of approx. 5.84g/l, this wine is a versatile accompaniment to meat dishes, cold cuts, and aged cheeses.
