Aghilóia is bright straw yellow color. On the nose it is fine and pronounced with typical fruity notes and some bitter almond. The palate is dry, soft and round, with a pleasant silky finish and fine minerality. - Gerardo [TS02/21]
Gerardo's Notes: The Vermentino grape owes its existence on Sardinian soil to the Spanish rulers who introduced the Listan d'Andalusia grape variety, considered the mother of Vermentino. The grape material for Aghiloia grows on high quality granite soils and is harvested only 15 days after full ripeness. This results in a full-bodied and powerful Vermentino of a slightly higher gradation.
