This Cannonau Classico clearly bears the signature of Giuseppe Gabbas: the extremely selected grapes come from vines over 40 years old. A small proportion of the ancient Sardinian grape variety Muristellu gives the wine an aromatic profile and emphasizes the typical Cannonau characteristics. The spectrum of aromas ranges from blackberries to wild hedgerow roses and subtle toasty aromas. The wine is full-bodied without being opulent and of optimal concentration. - Gerardo [TS06/10]
