Gerardo's Notes: Lagrein Baron Eyrl belongs to the Collection line, which is pressed from grapes grown in selected vineyards. This high-quality line stands for complex, hearty and straightforward South Tyrolean wines. The vines grow in the heart of the production area and produce a dense, garnet-red and well-structured wine. The grapes for 'Baron Eyrl' grow in Gries near Bolzano at 250 meters above sea level. The warm, loose and sandy alluvial soils produce an elegant, round wine with velvety tannins and typical, measured acidity.
