Back to Silence · Vino Bianco in Anfora DOC 2021

  Ottella's “Back to Silence” is an outstanding interpretation of the indigenous Turbiana variety (also known as Trebbiano di Lugana), and at the same time a bold step beyond conventional paths. Its grapes come from small, selected plots around the southern Lake Garda - a region characterized by limestone- and clay-rich soils. The vinification process involves a long maceration on the skins, followed by fermentation in amphorae using indigenous yeasts. The result is a white wine that shines in the style of an orange wine - with an open character, a present texture, and an immediate sense of origin.

In the glass, this wine displays an intense golden color with orange reflections - a visual signal of its exceptionality. The nose reveals ripe citrus and yellow fruit notes (orange, grapefruit, lime) flanked by elegant smoky, woody, and mineral hints. On the palate, “Back to Silence” captivates with its structured yet smooth texture: light tannins, delicate musculature, and fresh, lemony dynamics contribute to a lasting impression.
