  The Blanc de Blancs Spumante Brut from Ottella in Peschiera del Garda stylishly captures the terroir of the morainic hills of Alto Mincio: made from pure Chardonnay vinified using the traditional bottle fermentation method (“Metodo Classico”) and produced according to the “Solo Uva” philosophy, this sparkling wine places great emphasis on precision and sustainability. The grapes are carefully selected and matured for at least one year on the fine lees - an expression that not only promises quality, but also reveals the origin and signature of the house.

In the glass, the white sparkling wine presents itself in a delicate straw to light gold tone with a lively, fine perlage that signals both elegance and liveliness. The nose opens with notes of green apple, citrus fruits, and a hint of brioche and toasted crust—a sensual interplay between fruit and fine yeast notes. On the palate, “Blanc de Blancs” is fresh, clear, and mineral at the same time: a fine structure, subtle spice, and an elegant backbone contribute to a long-lasting finish, making this spumante ideal as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to light seafood dishes or mature cheeses. - Gerardo [TS10/23]
