Campo Sireso is a fascinating cuvée that combines the strengths of international grape varieties such as Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon with the unmistakable character of the Veneto varieties Corvina, Molinara and Rondinella. This combination gives the wine a seductive balance between power and fine spice and lends it a subtle regional signature. In the glass, Campo Sireso presents itself in a dense ruby and garnet red, while the bouquet is rich in berry fruit, interwoven with nuances of vanilla and fine spicy notes. On the palate, the wine is expressive and full-bodied, with the fine sweet tannins providing a velvety texture.   Gerardo's Notes: Stattgegeben, Ottella produziert zu 90% Weißwein - was nicht bedeutet das die Montresor Brüder keinen Rotwein können: Campo Sireso wirkt aufgrund der Grundlage von Merlot und Cabernet-Sauvignon ähnlich einem Bordeaux-Blend, profitiert jedoch von den darin enthaltenen, einheimischen Rebsorten. Diese tragen nicht nur zu Einzigartigkeit und Terroirbezug bei sondern verleihen dem Veroneser Roten auch eine würzige Geschmackskomponente. Auch bei diesem barriquegereiften Rotwein bewahren sich die Ottella ihre stilistische Einmaligkeit.
