Lugana DOC 2025

  The Lugana from Ottella near Peschiera del Garda impressively combines origin and style. Its grapes come from vineyards rooted in calcareous and clayey soils in the southern Lake Garda area—a terroir-driven location that gives the Turbiana variety (also known as “Trebbiano di Lugana”) its characteristic minerality. After gentle whole-cluster pressing, the must undergoes slow fermentation at a controlled temperature and is then aged on the fine lees for several months. The result is a white wine with clear origins, modern freshness, and genuine expression.

In the glass, it displays a bright straw yellow color with slight golden reflections - a visual promise of depth and elegance. The nose is greeted with exotic fruit notes, candied citrus fruits, and a fine mineral backbone that gives the wine a subtle sharpness of origin. This image continues on the palate: a noticeable elegance with a lingering finish, carried by texture, fruit, and the palpable terroir.
