  The “RosesRoses” rosé from the Ottella winery is a delicate work of art from the Alto Mincio area near Lake Garda, offering an unconventional interpretation of rosato. The cuvée combines grape varieties such as Corvina Veronese, Lagrein, and Rondinella and comes from hand-picked plots on moraine hills with clay- and limestone-rich soils. After a light maceration of about ten hours and cooled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the result is a rosé with subtle depth and character.

In the glass, it displays an onion skin color with a delicate pink and a hint of salmon - visually inviting and stylish. The nose reveals aromas of white peaches, delicate berries, and an elegant mineral note that makes its origin palpable. On the palate, the Rosato presents itself with fresh liveliness, a creamy melt and balanced structure - more powerful than a typical Chiaretto, but with just as much finesse. As an accompaniment to Mediterranean antipasti, fish dishes or a relaxed evening on the terrace, it offers authenticity and sophistication. - Gerardo [TS10/23]
