  Rivera's Rupicolo Castel del Monte Rosso appears in the glass in an intense ruby red with slight garnet reflections, emphasizing its maturity and density. The nose reveals a complex aroma of dark berries such as blackberries and cherries, accompanied by spicy notes of pepper, cocoa, and a hint of tobacco, which are attributable to the aging in oak barrels. A subtle mineral note refers to the limestone and clay soils of the Murgia hills and gives the wine a subtle depth that impressively reflects its origin.

On the palate, Rupicolo is powerful yet elegant, with smooth tannins that give the wine structure without masking the liveliness of the fruit. The balanced acidity supports the fruity nuances and ensures a harmonious interplay of body and freshness. Particularly noteworthy is the combination of the indigenous Nero di Troia and Montepulciano grape varieties, which give this cuvée its characteristic complexity and authenticity.
