Salice Salentino DOC 2021

  Rivera's Salice Salentino presents itself in the glass with a deep ruby red color and purple reflections, which already visually hint at its maturity and intensity. The nose reveals a complex bouquet of dark fruits such as cherries and plums, accompanied by subtle spicy notes reminiscent of pepper, tobacco, and a hint of vanilla. The tones of Mediterranean herbs and the subtle minerality of Apulia's calcareous soils lend the wine additional complexity and depth, clearly reflecting the character of its origin.

On the palate, Salice Salentino shows a harmonious balance between powerful fruitiness and elegant structure. The velvety tannins are present but softly integrated, while the lively acidity provides freshness and carries the aromas of ripe berries. Particularly noteworthy is the traditional Negroamaro grape variety, which is typical of this region and reaches its full potential in the vineyards of Salento.
