  The elegant red wine Jaddico Brindisi Rosso Riserva from the Tenute Rubino winery in Apulia represents the sophisticated combination of local grape varieties and modern winemaking. It has its roots in the historic terroir of Tenuta Jaddico-Giancòla near Brindisi, where the indigenous grape varieties Negroamaro (approx. 80%) and Susumaniello (approx. 20%) are cultivated on sandy and clayey soils, a rare and distinctive combination. The winemaking process involves a longer maceration period, controlled temperature management, and aging in both stainless steel tanks and barriques—a production process that effectively combines depth, elegance, and structure.

In the glass, Jaddico presents itself in an intense garnet red that immediately conveys its charisma. The nose reveals a multifaceted interplay of aromas: ripe cherries and plums, a hint of dark chocolate, noble black pepper, leather, and tobacco - an expression of Sicilian-Mediterranean character with noble spice. On the palate, the wine is powerful yet resonant, with smoothly integrated tannins and invigorating freshness.
