Calle was born in the nineties from the rooted cuttings of Orgno, the first vineyard where the Fasoli brothers experimented the practices of natural farming. Orgno · Merlot IGT 2016 (Bio)

The Merlot vines were planted in 1978 in the Orgno vineyard and used in the wine of the same name more than ten years later. This minimum age of the vines guarantees high quality product: intense ruby color in the glass, on the nose notes of ripe red fruit, leather, truffle and licorice. On the palate of rich and balanced structure, enveloping and powerful.

This wine from the Prestige line of the Fasoli brothers is the result of decades of research into the Valpolicella terroir. The selection of suitable vineyards and their exposure, the understanding of the microclimate and the extremely limited grape material allow for a truly great wine.
