From the lower Tirso Valley comes the native grape variety Nieddera, which is the basis of this sophisticated Rosato: The color is an intense rosé, subtle crimson with violet reflections. On the nose it has a fine and intense fruity aroma with floral hints. In the drink mild and lively, fresh and harmonious. - Gerardo [TS12/24]
"Deep pink. Mineral-accented aromas of strawberry and blood orange, with a violet topnote building with air. Taut and focused on entry, then fleshier in the mid-palate, offering intense red cherry and vanilla flavors of noteworthy purity and clarity. Finishes seamless and long, with subtle spiciness and repeating floral character. Gerardo's Notes: Nieddera Rosato is a fine, dry and accessible rose wine with measured acidity and subtle tannins. It should be noted the use of the indigenous grape variety Nieddera, which unfortunately otherwise receives little attention. The wine is mild, uncomplicated and goes down well on any occasion. Incidentally, the name of an ancient Sardinian grape variety is thus carried out into the world - keep it up!
