The Isola dei Nuraghi Rosso I Giganti is a deep dark ruby red with elegant garnet reflections in the glass. The bouquet is intense and complex, characterized by red fruits such as cherry and blackberry, which blend harmoniously with spicy notes and balsamic nuances. On the palate, it is velvety and warm, with fine, ripe tannins and an elegant freshness that rounds off the structure.
The name “I Giganti” is a tribute to the famous giants of Mont'e Prama, the monumental sandstone figures of the Nuragic culture that were rediscovered on the Sinis peninsula in 1974. These 3000-year-old statues are considered to be the oldest free-standing large sculptures in Europe and bear witness to the cultural flourishing of the early Sardinian period, even before ancient Greek sculpture.
