The deep dark and concentrated Rosso Veronese 'Valpo' has much of its 'big brother', the world-famous Amarone: the color is a rich garnet red, in the aroma of dried fruit, coffee and some licorice. The palate is fleshy and juicy, marked by sweet tannins. The complex aroma continues into the long finish. - Gerardo [TS05/15]
