Rocca di Frassinello's Rosato is made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes, which are carefully harvested from the estate's own vineyards. The brief contact between the must and the skins gives it its delicate salmon pink color, reminiscent of peach blossoms. In the glass, it is fresh and lively, with a subtle minerality reminiscent of the elegant Provençal style of great French rosés.
The bouquet reveals fruity notes of juicy peach and pomegranate, which make the wine inviting and lively. On the palate, it impresses with its soft elegance, a delicate spiciness, and a salty freshness that lingers into the long finish. It comes from vineyards around Gavorrano (province of Grosseto) in the Maremma Toscana region. The grapes are carefully harvested by hand and the wine is vinified in stainless steel tanks without barrique aging. The region benefits from a mild Mediterranean climate combined with cooler nights—ideal conditions for preserving the freshness and delicate aromas of the Rosato.
In the glass, the Rosato appears in a light salmon pink color, which is created by brief skin contact during processing. On the nose, it seduces with notes of peach, pomegranate, and a hint of almonds. On the palate, it is fresh, juicy, and well-balanced, with a slight spiciness and a long-lasting finish.
