  The “Lafòa” Pinot Nero from the Schreckbichl Winery is a masterpiece of South Tyrolean winemaking and represents the winery's highest quality line. The name “Lafòa” refers to a pilot vineyard where new standards for quality and grape variety selection were set in the 1980s. It was here that the idea arose to produce wines of exceptional elegance and longevity through reduced yields and selective harvesting. Pinot Nero thrives in the best locations in South Tyrol, where the combination of cool nights and warm days creates ideal conditions for the ripening of this demanding grape variety. After harvesting, careful vinification takes place, followed by long aging in barriques, which gives the wine additional depth and complexity.

In the glass, Lafòa Pinot Nero presents itself in a deep ruby red with delicate garnet reflections. The bouquet seduces with aromas of ripe cherries, raspberries, and a hint of violets, accompanied by fine spicy notes and a touch of noble wood. On the palate, the wine is powerful yet elegant, with silky tannins and a harmonious acidity that gives it remarkable length. The finish is complex and characterized by a subtle minerality that reflects the wine's origin.
