Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG 2020 (6er Holzkiste) (Bio)

  The Chianti Classico Riserva is made exclusively from indigenous grape varieties and is only produced in the best vintages. This wine is popular with connoisseurs and is considered the epitome of its region of origin. Its long tradition is evidenced by the historical collection kept in the abbey's cellars.

Fermentation takes place naturally with indigenous yeasts, followed by maceration on the skins for at least three weeks and regular follatura (punching down of the skins). The wine is aged for 24 months in French and Austrian oak barrels, followed by four months of maturation in the bottle.

The wine has an intense ruby red color. Elegant balsamic notes unfold on the nose, mingling with aromas of flower petals, preserved cherries, licorice and chocolate.
