  The Bardolino Chiaretto Terre in Fiore owes its name and delicate color to a special vinification technique in which the must remains in contact with the dark grape skins for only a few hours before being drawn off, combining the freshness of a white wine with the structure of a red. This rosé specialty from the eastern shore of Lake Garda is produced from strictly organically grown Corvina and Rondinella grapes, which develop a particularly fine, mineral-driven aroma of red currants and wild rose petals on the pebble-rich morainic hills.

On the palate, this wine reflects the mild microclimate of the lake by combining an animating juiciness with a subtle, herbal spice that extends far beyond simple fruitiness. Thanks to its dry yet soft style, it is an excellent partner for local freshwater fish such as trout or char, but also proves its versatile culinary competence as a companion to mild Asian dishes or a classic Pizza Margherita due to its elegant structure. - Gerardo [TS10/23]
