The Prosecco Spumante Brut Fagher from Le Colture shines a clear, bright yellow in the glass and exudes an inviting freshness right from the start. Fine aromas of citrus fruit, green apple and pear unfold on the nose, accompanied by a hint of fresh bread crust - a hint of the careful bottle fermentation and the artisanal standards of the house.

On the palate, this Prosecco is lively and balanced, supported by a fine, long-lasting perlage that gives the wine structure and freshness. The taste is dry, elegant and clear without losing any of its expression - a Prosecco with character that impresses both as a stylish aperitif and as an accompaniment to light starters and Mediterranean dishes. A classic from Veneto that celebrates the fine art of enjoyment. - Gerardo [TS10/25]

"Even more convincing the Brut Fagher, modest in its aromatic dress, but of considerable bite and great penetrating power in the taste." - Gambero Rosso

"Brightest silver with persistent perlage. In the nose delicate and shy, light salt. Tight and very crisp on the palate, plays skillfully with fruit and acidity, fine lemon, very dry finish, lovely delicate bubbles." - Falstaff

´Fagher´ · Prosecco Spumante Brut DOCG (2024) © www.lecolture.com

This Prosecco represents the pinnacle of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG quality pyramid, originating from one of the exclusive 'Rive' vineyards. In the local dialect, 'Rive' refers to the steep, often extreme slopes that define this unique landscape. Unlike Prosecco produced in the flat plains where mechanical harvesting is the norm, this wine demands everything from the winemakers: practicing so-called 'heroic viticulture,'' the grapes here are tended to and harvested exclusively by hand. This deliberate choice to cultivate the steepest slopes with strictly limited yields ensures that only the finest, most aromatic grapes make it into the bottle.

In the glass, this Prosecco reveals the true character of its terroir, offering an experience far beyond the simple fruitiness of a standard Prosecco. The specific microclimate of the steep slope—characterized by intense sunlight, optimal soil drainage, and cool nightly breezes—imbues the wine with unmistakable structure, profound minerality, and elegant finesse. As a vintage sparkling wine (Millesimato), it tells the story of a specific year and a specific hillside. It is not merely a sparkling wine for mass consumption, but a complex, terroir-driven experience for connoisseurs seeking the authentic soul of Valdobbiadene. - Gerardo [TS10/25]
