The Rosso Toscana Montebello develops its special elegance and depth through the complex harmony of nine historic grape varieties. The intensity, balanced structure and persistent harmony make this wine both immediately enjoyable and long-lasting. The vines grow on calcareous clay soil with a medium structure in Monti in Chianti, where the perfect location of the Montebello hill gives the wine strength and nobility. The carefully selected varieties - Mammolo, Ciliegiolo, Pugnitello, Colorino, Sanforte, Malvasia Nera, Canaiolo, Foglia Tonda and Sangiovese - are vinified individually and matured in small barrels in the winery, which is located directly in the vineyards. Native yeasts and natural fermentation emphasize the complexity and harmonious interplay of the grape varieties.
